Citrus greening symptoms in this 4-year-old orange tree include the canopy thinning shown above. For comparison, there is a healthy citrus tree shown in the background. The infected tree has smaller leaves, a more yellow appearance and loses more of its crop from fruit drop. Notice also how some fruits on the infected tree have started to decay on the tree. This type of decay happens rarely on healthy trees, but is common in greening-infected trees.
